Medical Biller

Responsibilities

• Aid clients in processing corporate claims through private pay and Medicaid/Medicare
• Note and process all necessary forms from the insurance
• Absorb and process patient information, including collecting all necessary forms and signatures
• Collaborate with doctor’s offices and hospitals to gather charge information and billing details
• Accurately enter all billing and payment information into the system without errors
• Follow up with clients and manage payments as needed
• Handle incoming calls, provide client assistance, take messages, and screen calls
• Maintain strict confidentiality

Qualifications

• Proven customer service skills
• Experience with medical coding or billing preferred
• Exceptional organizational skills
