What You’ll Do

• Perform charge entry, confirm patient registration, and process claims
• Manage patient aging reports and assist with patient balance collections
• Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy
• Follow up on medical claims to ensure timely reimbursement
• Use Practice Management Systems in new and inventive ways

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a high-growth or fast-paced environment
• Strong working knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance guidelines, and claim submission processes
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding systems and policies
• Experience with electronic/clearinghouse billing software and health plan websites
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• A self-starter mindset—able to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain a strong commitment to attendance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
