Medical Biller

About the role

This position requires at least 2+ years of Medical Billing experience with a strong focus on Medicaid & Medicare.

Responsibilities

• Review and process insurance claims for Medicaid and Medicare patients
• Ensure accurate coding and documentation according to industry standards
• Communicate with providers and patients regarding billing issues and insurance coverage
• Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely payment collection
• Comply with regulatory requirements and maintain compliance with HIPAA

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems (ICD-10, CPT)
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of healthcare billing software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

The pay range for this position is $55,120.00 - $55,120.00/yr.
