MEDICAL BILLER

About the Role

GatesEMS is seeking qualified candidates to join our team. We operate out of three stations in the Rochester, NY area and provide emergency medical services to our community.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and provide pre-hospital medical care
• Operate emergency vehicles safely and in compliance with all regulations
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient care records
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Collaborate effectively with other emergency services personnel
• Maintain equipment and ensure readiness for emergency response

Requirements

• Current New York State EMT certification (or higher)
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment
• CPR certification
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Sound clinical judgment and decision-making abilities

• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
