General Duties:Ensure all claims are submitted weeklyVerifies completeness and accuracy of all claims prior to submissionAccurately post all insurance and patient payments dailyTimely follow-up on insurance claim denialsReading and interpreting insurance explanation of benefitsCompletion of monthly aging reports to follow-up on unpaid claims aged over 30 daysMonthly patient statementsObtaining referrals/authorizationsScheduling of appointments Required Education and Experience:High school diploma/GED required + 2 years? experienceElectronic Medical Record experienceExceptional customer service skillsSpanish speakingCPT and ICD-10 codingHealth care terminology highly desiredExperience in filing claim appeals with insurance companies to ensure maximum entitled reimbursement.Knowledge of private insurance and Medicaid referral/authorization guidelines $15/hr. to start Position could become full time with the company.
