Medical Assistant - Women's Health

About the role

Saint Luke’s Health System Women's Health Clinics are looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) to be an integral part of our provider team that delivers high-quality, patient-centered medical care in a busy multi-specialty physician practice.

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with no holidays or weekends, and is located at Saint Luke's North. Travel between Saint Luke’s Multispecialty clinic locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent patient experience by managing patient flow, delivering outstanding customer service, establishing rapport, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct pre-visit plans, room patients, and obtain vitals.
• Perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Administer injections and coordinate vaccines.
• Assist providers with procedures.
• Utilize the EMR system and scan/download documents.
• Complete various administrative tasks such as prior authorizations, prescription refills, and other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Certified Medical Assistant (various certifications accepted).
• Positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and eagerness to be a team player.
• Outgoing personality to contribute to excellent patient care and a seamless patient experience.
