Medical Assistant - Urgent Care

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits
• Obtain vitals and medical histories
• Auxiliary in urgent procedures
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
• Support medication administration
• Document clinical data
• Inform families about their child’s health
• Maintain exam rooms
• Ensure smooth patient flow

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Current BLS and PALS required
• EKG and phlebotomy experience essential
• Pediatric or urgent care experience advantageous
• Proficiency with EMR systems desired
• Strong clinical, multitasking, and communication skills
• Patient-focused and team-oriented mindset
