About the role
This position functions as part of a health care team by communicating patient needs/problems to the provider and assisting in the delivery of health care in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Performing radiologic procedures
- Selecting and performing point of care testing
- Specimen collection
- Taking vitals
- Performing basic lab functions
- Performing other miscellaneous clinical responsibilities
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or must be registry eligible
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
Qualifications
- Previous hospital or medical office experience
- Excellent communication skills
