Under the supervision of the physician or advanced practice clinician (NP or PA), performs Medical Assistant specific tasks, and assesses and educates patients.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience: One year of experience in a clinical setting or completion of a Medical Assistant certification program required
• Certification & Licensure: BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required. New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
