Medical Assistant Primary Care

Responsibilities

• Administer critical immunizations, injections, blood draws and execute vital laboratory work to actively protect individuals.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, contributing specialized knowledge for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain detailed patient records for seamless communication and care continuity.
• Assist providers with procedures.

Schedule

• Monday: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Tuesday: 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• 2 Saturdays per month: 8 a.m. – Noon

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalency, OR 1 year of applicable job-specific experience.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• Training and/or experience to give vaccinations and injections is required.

Pay

Salary range: $19.58 - $26.09 per hour
