About the Role

This role involves providing high-quality, collaborative patient care across multiple primary care locations, including Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine. The Medical Assistant will ensure operational efficiency and support organizational standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed providers with clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, performing routine tests, collecting specimens, and supporting patient education.
  • Participate in patient assessment, care planning, medication management, and documentation within the scope of practice.
  • Support team-based care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Handle administrative duties like scheduling and supply management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Medical Assistant certification and completion of an accredited program mandatory.
  • Prior healthcare experience preferred.
  • Bilingual skills in English/Spanish advantageous.
  • Demonstrated clinical competence, effective communication, organizational abilities, and proficiency with electronic health records and medical technology.
