About the Role
This role involves providing high-quality, collaborative patient care across multiple primary care locations, including Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine. The Medical Assistant will ensure operational efficiency and support organizational standards and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed providers with clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, performing routine tests, collecting specimens, and supporting patient education.
- Participate in patient assessment, care planning, medication management, and documentation within the scope of practice.
- Support team-based care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Handle administrative duties like scheduling and supply management.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Medical Assistant certification and completion of an accredited program mandatory.
- Prior healthcare experience preferred.
- Bilingual skills in English/Spanish advantageous.
- Demonstrated clinical competence, effective communication, organizational abilities, and proficiency with electronic health records and medical technology.
