About the role

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. The RMA/CMA is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions. The RMA/CMA is under the overall on-site supervision of the clinic supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services.
• Perform typical front and back office clinical functions using the RMA/CMA.
• Under the overall on-site supervision of the clinic supervisor, provide patient care and procedures.
• Deliver patient care and procedures.
• Show strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
• Show proficiency in computer use and quick learning of new tools and processes.
• Show ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required.

Requirements

• Vocational/Technical Medical Assistant training with registration or certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Driver's License.

Qualifications

• Required: Vocational/Technical Medical Assistant training with registration or certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: Bilingual.

Skills

• Skilled in in-patient care and medical procedures, including medication administration and triage for pediatric patients.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital for patient interaction.
• Proficient in computer use and quick to learn new tools and processes.

Pay

$17.00 - $19.13, Hourly.

Schedule

Typical: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Approximately four times per month, will run late clinic shift 9:00am-6:00pm.
