Yavapai Regional Medical Group, a part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their Orthopedic Clinic in Prescott, Arizona.

Responsibilities

- Keeps the day running smoothly and efficiently for patients and clinical team. - Proactively prepares patient charts, ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date. - Assists the nurse/physician during examinations, treatments, and procedures as requested. - Retrieves necessary equipment and supplies. - Assists in patient/equipment preparation. - Performs follow-up actions as directed. - Documents clinically relevant findings in the patient's record according to hospital protocols and clinical protocols.

Requirements

- High School Graduate or GED. - Medical Assistant certificate or completion of a US Armed Forces medical services training program. - Completion of an accredited MA program. - Computer program utilized for checking-in and scheduling patients. - American Heart Association Basic Life Support - AHA BLS.

Preferred

- Previous Medical Assistant Experience. - Electronic Medical Record EMR experience. - Experience in designated specialty area. - Bilingual skills.
