Medical Assistant or LPN - General Surgery
Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to providers during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Collects and reviews patient histories and conducts routine laboratory procedures.
- Prepares specimens for laboratory transport and communicates test results to providers and patients.
- Provides patient education materials and maintains medical records.
- Maintains medical equipment and orders necessary clinical supplies.
- Performs other tasks as directed.
Requirements
- Approved Medical Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire or proof of active license/certification.
- E/M (Emergency Medical Technician) or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician) certification.
- Paramedic certification.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Schedule
Full-time position with shift hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (shift days are Monday through Friday).
Location
Wesley Chapel, FL - General Surgery.
Weekend Work
No weekend work is required.
On Call
No on-call responsibilities are needed.
