Compensation
$5,000 sign-on bonus with a 24-month commitment. Must have at least one year of experience.
Schedule
Full-time equivalent (FTE): 1.0. Shift: Day. Schedule: Monday–Friday.
About the role
The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) is an integral part of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) office team working under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner. Work situations require performance of safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the MA-C. The MA-C has continuous contact with physicians, APPs, nurses, front office staff, patients and their families/caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Organize patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff
- Interview patients
- Obtain vital signs
- Assist patients in preparing for exams or treatments
- Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture
- Administer medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency
- Relay instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers
- Send and receive patient medical records
- Facilitate patient referrals
- Prepare forms for patients
Requirements
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Current BLS certification

Pay
The pay scale is $26.29 – $37.91 USD. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
