Responsibilities

• Politely and promptly greets and registers patients via manual or computer entry system
• Escorting patients to room and taking brief history of illness and/or chief complaint
• Phlebotomy, Taking vitals, which may include: temperature, pulse, respiration's, blood pressure, height and weight on all patients
• Keeping patient flow to physicians or other attending s constant
• Assisting (within the legal scope of practice) physician or other attending s when needed
• Preparing room with equipment and supplies as required
• Maintaining inventory of supplies
• Assists with routine office duties, such as copying, filing, faxing, when needed or as directed
