Under the supervision of a provider, assists and performs a variety of patient care duties and adheres to performance expectations of all defined services or related duties for the clinics of MercyOne Northeast IA.

Location
Cedar Falls, IA
Schedule
36 hours per week, Day shift, M-F
Supports the operation of the clinical practice
- Performs a variety of administrative and clinical tasks
- Aids physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care
- Assists with patient preparation
- Collects vital signs
- Documents patient care
- Performs basic clinical procedures
- Captures patient flow
- Maintains accurate medical records
- Ensures a positive patient experience
Required
- Must have successfully completed accredited Medical Assistant program
- MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year
- OR Must have successfully completed accredited LPN program
- LPN License in the state of Iowa
