A Day in the Life
- Complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic.
- Work alongside the provider to ensure patient care and clinic smoothness.
- Be the first point of patient care within the clinic.
- Room and prepare patients according to clinic-specific checklists or procedures.
- Measure patient weight, height, oxygen saturation, respiration, temperature, pulse (manual and automatic), blood pressure (manual and automatic), and other patient care as needed.
- Complete required patient care documentation including Medical Histories, referral requests, etc.
- Assist with day-to-day operations as required for optimal patient care, including assisting fellow teammates and providers when necessary.
Qualifications
- LPN:
- Graduate of a practical nursing education program accepted for licensure.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in a hospital, home health environment, office-setting or long-term care is preferred.
- Certified Medical Assistant:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization.
- BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
- Experienced in Phlebotomy is highly preferred.
