Position: Medical Assistant (MA) or LPN
Urgent Care
Location: Waterloo, IA
Schedule: 32 hours per week, includes weekends and holidays. 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Affirmatively assist physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures.
- Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks.
- Captures and documents vital signs accurately.
- Prepares patients for examinations and treatments.
- Assists in the coordination of patient flow.
- Maintains accurate medical records.
- Ensures a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- Must have successfully completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
- MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.
- OR Must have successfully completed accredited LPN program.
- LPN License in the state of Iowa.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
