Medical Assistant (MA) Front/Back Float

This position is responsible for front office duties and supporting clinical care team members in delivering patient care according to the Medical Assistant Scope of Practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform front office duties for assigned medical practices and support clinical care team members.
- Assist in data collection for patient assessment.
- Implement teaching plans with patients, families, and/or caregivers as needed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all duties within the Medical Assistant Scope of Practice.
- Implement orders and treatment plan components as directed by providers.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and directives.
- Interact positively and constructively with team members and patients.
- Prioritize tasks and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize critical thinking to identify issues and problem-solve to logical conclusions.
- Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
Requirements
- One (1) year of medical office and clinical experience in an ambulatory care environment; urgent care experience highly preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certificate from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program required.
- Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.

Pay
Pay range: $26.00 per hour. Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including relevant years of experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Per Diem, variable shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays (8-hour shifts).
