Medical Assistant (MA) Front/Back Float

Duties

• Monitoring the 24/7 virtual urgent care patient queues and initiating registration/rooming process for all virtual.
• Aid patients with MyChart activations.
• Perform miscellaneous downtime tasks to assist other departments (e.g., incomplete registration and eCheck-ins).

Requirements

• MUST be available to pick up variable shifts (weekdays/weekends/1am-930am or 9:00am-5:30pm or 5pm-1:30am).
• MUST have reliable wi-fi connection and maintain a quiet and distraction-free area to conduct patient care.

Qualifications

• One (1) year medical office and clinical experience in an ambulatory care environment required.
• A High School graduate or equivalent required.
• A Certificate from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program required.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Pay Range: $26.00/hr

Schedule

Shifts are variable (8hr shift), may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
