Medical Assistant - MA - Float Pool
Position Summary
Perform clinical duties in physician practices under the direction of the practice manager and physicians. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, administering injections and medications, performing EKGs and other point of care testing and treatments, triaging phone calls and electronic messages, and performing check out duties. Promote teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Previous medical assistant experience in vital sign accuracy, EKGs, medication administration, and immunizations
