About the role

The Medical Assistant Float Pool position at UNM Medical Group, Inc. Clinics will serve in both an administrative front desk role, as well as a Medical Assistant for clinical back office duties, to include assisting with procedures, triaging, and quality initiative projects.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting clinics ranging from primary care, women’s reproductive health, integrative medicine, and behavioral health.
  • Assisting with procedures, triaging, and quality initiative projects.
  • Serving in both an administrative front desk role and as a Medical Assistant for clinical back office duties.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A Medical Assistant Program Graduate Certificate.
  • If applicable, current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
  • BLS certification.

Pay

Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience. Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Minimum Job Requirements: Minimum $38,948 - Midpoint $47,818*

Schedule

Full-time opportunities for the day shift opening located in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
