Medical Assistant -Float Pool

Overview

Sentara Medical Group is currently offering a Sign on Bonus for qualified Medical Assistants! Qualified New Grads are eligible for a bonus. Must be either a CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT-Basic. This is a full-time Float Pool position. Primary work is in Elizabeth City, Moyock, and Edenton, North Carolina. May require travel to Virginia Beach or Chesapeake. Standard Working Hours: Monday through Friday-8,10, or 12-hour shifts Differential pay is provided for the travel and flexibility that is needed for this role.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

• Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Experience

• 1 year of clinical or administrative experience
• Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
