Medical Assistant (MA, EMT, CNA) - Primary Care

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient vitals, reconcile outside medications and allergies, and complete health screenings and patient histories.
• Support virtual-health encounters.
• Perform point-of-care testing, including quality control and documentation.
• Assist providers with in-house procedures as needed.
• Provide administrative support: scheduling, chart prep, referrals, check-in/out, prior authorizations, and transportation facilitation.
• Float to other offices based on business needs.

Requirements

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic, or Medic certification OR at least one year of direct patient-care experience (acute or ambulatory).
• Relevant experience or MA externship in a busy medical office preferred.
• Certified BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 90 days of hire; must be maintained throughout employment.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
