Responsibilities

• Obtain vitals, perform outside medication and allergy reconciliation, conduct screenings, gather patient history, and support virtual health visits.
• Conduct point‑of‑care testing, including quality control and documentation.
• Assist providers with in‑house procedures as needed.
• Provide administrative support such as scheduling, chart preparation, referrals, patient check‑in/out, prior authorizations, and transportation facilitation.
• Float to other offices based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic, or Medic certification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed by the American Heart Association, obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained throughout employment.
• At least one year of direct patient‑care experience in an acute or ambulatory setting (if education requirement is not met).
• Relevant experience or MA externship in a busy medical office preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
