Medical Assistant - MA

DocGo is leading the proactive healthcare revolution with an innovative care delivery platform that includes mobile health services, population health, remote patient monitoring, and ambulance services. DocGo disrupts the traditional four-wall healthcare system by providing high quality, highly affordable care to patients where and when they need it.
Responsibilities
- Navigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, medication management, and goals of care
- Provide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnoses
- Participate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training team
- Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics
- Practice under direction with synchronous telemedicine support
- Maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our EMR system
Qualifications
- Must have one of the following certifications: MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA
- Valid Driver's License in state of residency with 2+ years of driving experience, and an acceptable driving record
- CA Driver’s License (for at least 2 years) and an acceptable driving record
- Minimum 2 years of recent in-person experience as a MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA in an Urgent Care, Primary Care, or related setting
- Phlebotomy experience
- Active and current American Heart Association BLS
- Fluent bilingual English/Spanish, preferred

Pay
$28 - $32 per hour
Schedule
- Four 10 hour shifts per week
- Must be able to work at least 1 weekend day per week
- Eight hour shifts
- Must have weekday and/or weekend availability
