Role Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient care in a primary care setting, working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and staff to ensure patient well-being.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling appointments
• Managing referrals
• Making medication refills
• Performing clinical intakes
• Aiding with procedures
• Maintaining supplies
• Ensuring infection control
• Assisting with allergy testing and injections

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Indiana LPN license
• CPR certification
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) or willingness to obtain within 9 months
• Experience in clinical or front-office tasks (preferred)
• Proficiency with electronic health records
• Skills in vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, and scheduling (preferred)
