Medical Assistant Intake

This position is a full-time, permanent clinical position within Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Spring Hill, TN. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients and maintaining a friendly demeanor.Obtain patient medical history in electronic health records (EHR), vital signs, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with examinationsMaintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policiesAssist with procedures such as injections as directed by the providerClean and sanitize exam rooms in between patient visitsBasic tasks such as removing sutures and applying bandagesMeasure and apply patients with durable medical equipment (DMEs)Provide instructions and directions to patients regarding diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatmentsProvide patient education and review home exercise programs Requirements Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong computer skills Preferred Experience using NextGen or electronic medical records (EMR) systemsRegistered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Benefits Competitive payComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k match with employee contribution and discretionary profit-sharingPaid Time Off (which increases with years of service)Paid Holidays TOA is an equal opportunity employer.
