How Will You Make An Impact & Requirements
- Triage patients and draw blood (venipuncture).
- Ensure patients are in the exam room within 15 minutes of check-in.
- Scan patient documents into the system.
- Aid physicians with procedures and lab requests.
- Prepare patient charts 24 hours in advance.
- Answer patient messages and process refill requests promptly.
- Maintain organized and stocked medication, exam, and lab rooms.
- Perform routine lab tests and complete HEDIS measures.
- Cook up patient flow and maintain records.
- Participate in quality improvement and continuing education, and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
About the Role
Our Medical Assistant will provide support during diagnostic examinations and treatments, administer medications, draw blood, and facilitate communication between patients and physicians. They will thrive in our fast-paced, people-driven environment, enjoying the chance to assist our patients both in person and over the phone. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, and 1 year of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, preferably with Athena. Bilingualism (English/Spanish) is also required.

Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- 1 year of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Experience - (Athena preferred).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
