Responsibilities
- Provides nursing assistance to physicians
- OBTAINS VITAL SIGNS
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visits
- Telephone triage
- UPDATES, RECORDS, AND FILLS MEDICAL INFORMATION AND FORMS
- Maintains medical documentation
- ANSWERS PHONES AND SCHEDULES APPOINTMENTS
- INCOMING FAXES ORDERS, MEDICATION REFILLS, INQUIRY/REQUESTS
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years Patient Care Experience
- Pulmonary experience preferred
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Associate's Degree Preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
