About the role
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant II to join our AgeWell team. The AgeWell Department serves patients aged 65+ and is experiencing rapid growth. This position is eligible for up to a $2,000 sign-on bonus.*
Responsibilities
- Performing phlebotomy procedures
- Providing nursing assistance to physicians
- Obtaining vital signs
- Greeting and chaperoning patients during medical visits
- Telephone triage and patient education
- Maintaining medical documentation
- Scheduling care, treatment, and diagnostic tests per physician
- Processing CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals
- Cross-training in front office, referrals area, and other areas
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
- High School Diploma/GED – Required
- Associate's Degree – Preferred
- Over 5 years of patient care experience – Preferred
- Experience in a physician's office – Preferred
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay
Eligible for up to a $2,000 sign-on bonus.*
