About the role

The Medical Assistant I position at ChristianaCare Primary Care at Darley Green supports physicians in delivering comprehensive primary medical care to patients of all ages. The facility is certified as a Patient-Centered Medical Home and offers a wide range of services including immunizations, minor medical procedures, physical examinations, and on-site lab services.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients virtually and in person
• Prepare patients for visits and perform basic clinical tasks such as testing, injections, and EKGs
• Absorb and assist with exams, maintaining exam rooms and equipment
• Manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling
• Handle clerical duties, troubleshoot video visits, and support patient portal access

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED required
• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the NCCA or ANSI

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $19.10 - $27.69

Schedule

Monday from 7am to 3pm
Tuesday from 7am to 7pm
Wednesday from 7am to 2pm
Thursday from 7am to 1pm
Friday from 7am to 4pm
