About the role
As a Medical Assistant, you'll be an essential part of the care team—supporting providers and ensuring every patient receives high-quality, coordinated care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and document vitals, patient history, and screenings
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments
- Conduct in-house testing (Flu, Strep, COVID, etc.)
- Administer vaccines, medications, and treatments
- Coordinate referrals, prescription refills, and follow-up visits
- Educate patients and support adherence to care plans
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized clinical spaces
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification or diploma
- At least 1 year of experience (healthcare preferred)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- A patient-focused mindset with a passion for community health
- Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish
