Responsibilities

• Rooming patients, checking vitals, and assisting with procedures
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment
• Collecting patient data in person and by phone
• Stocking and reorganizing supplies
• Ordering supplies
• Checking in with patients throughout their appointment to ensure they are comfortable for their chemo treatment

Requirements

• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman
• BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Qualifications

• One year of experience working as a Medical Assistant
• Hematology or oncology experience
• New graduates welcome to apply

Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

$25.95 - $32.56 per hour
