About the role
Assists the physician and office staff with performance of patient care activities consistent with the established standards of nursing practice. Integrates the Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respect for human life and the dignity of each person, and applies Christian values to all crucial human issues in the area of responsibility. A caring, friendly, personal, and professional approach is expected in all communications with patients, families, visitors, and co-workers. Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic.
New hires must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
