Overview

Aids the physician and office staff in performing patient care activities according to established standards of nursing practice.

Communicates with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues in a caring, friendly, personal, and professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred)
• One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience (preferred)
