About the role
Maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow in accordance with agency standards.
Maintains all logs and required checks (e.g., refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, eye wash station).
Conducts pre-visit planning by reviewing and updating patient charts prior to appointment and determines needed services per practice protocol.
Assists with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, processing prior authorizations, messages, telephone calls, etc.
Gives instructions to patients as instructed by Performs all other duties as required.

Requirements
- High school graduate with a minimum of 5 year’s experience in a public health care setting or Medical Assistant training with two years of Public Health Care experience required.
- Communication Organization Skills Verbal and written communication skills Team oriented Must be knowledgeable in EHR, MS Word, Excel and Internet usage.
- Cultural competency Time Management Decision Making
Qualifications
- High school graduate with a minimum of 5 year’s experience in a public health care setting or Medical Assistant training with two years of Public Health Care experience required.
