Medical Assistant - Full Time

Role Overview: The Medical Assistant supports healthcare teams by facilitating patient flow, assisting with medical procedures, and performing administrative tasks. They ensure efficient clinic operations, maintain a clean and safe environment, and promote patient satisfaction through professional interactions. Key Responsibilities Escort patients, verify identity, record vital signs, and prepare patients for exams.Assist practitioners with procedures such as ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, and specimen collection.Prepare and disinfect exam rooms, manage supplies and equipment, and monitor safety standards.Interact professionally with patients and team members, supporting a positive patient experience.Perform delegated specialty procedures safely and efficiently.Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED.Current certification or proof of eligibility in recognized medical assisting certifications (e.g., CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA).American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.0-2 years of relevant experience; strong computer skills.Preferred: completed accredited MA program, ambulatory care experience, familiarity with electronic medical records.
