Medical Assistant - Full Time

Position Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed or registered nurse. Responsible for professional accountability and coordinating care with other departments. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience, with current LPN licensure and Basic Life Support certification. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or unit-specific credentials may be required. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment under supervision.Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Perform physical duties including standing, walking, lifting, and repositioning patients up to 50 pounds. Skills & Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, lift, and maneuver patients; prolonged standing and walking; able to reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
