Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care by offering excellent customer service by participating in a team-centered approach towards patient care.
• Collaborates with the Physician and nursing staff regarding patient care.
• Proficient in order entry.
• Provides clerical and patient-related support in the functional areas of record keeping, scheduling, and utilizing knowledge of office policy and procedures.
• Verifies patient demographics, patient record filing and retention, and verifies physician orders.
• Schedules patients for appointments and referrals.
• Assists with the preparation of patients for exams.
• Maintains patient billing and payments.
• Meets and greets patients.
• Maintains office supplies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in direct patient care.
