Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Includes one late evening shift and alternating Saturdays
Responsibilities
- Welcoming and rooming patients
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Obtaining patient medical histories
- Preparing patients for exams and procedures
- Assisting providers during exams and treatments
- Performing:
- Phlebotomy
- Immunizations
- Point-of-care (POC) testing
- Setting up exam and procedure rooms
Requirements
Required:
- Previous experience in a family medicine or primary care setting
Preferred Skills:
- Phlebotomy
- Immunizations
- Point-of-care (POC) testing
- Strong clinical skills (e.g., accurate BP measurement, procedure setup)

Additional Requirements:
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum).
- OR Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years.
- OR Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical medical assisting.
- OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- OR Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
- OR Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
Certifications/Licensures Required:
- Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by end of orientation.
