Medical Assistant Family Medicine
About the role
Administers critical immunizations, injections, blood draws and executes vital laboratory work to actively protect individuals. Collaborates with the healthcare team, contributing specialized knowledge for optimal outcomes. Maintains detailed patient records for seamless communication and care continuity. Assists providers with procedures.
Responsibilities
- Schedule: Monday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesday 8 a.m. – 7 p.m., Wednesdays 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Thursday 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., 1 Saturday per month 8 a.m. – Noon.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
