Job Summary

As a Medical Assistant / EMT, you will play a key role in supporting providers with clinical tasks, documentation, and patient communication. You’ll assist with exams, help manage the flow of care, and become an integral part of our patient-centered practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in provider documentation and charting during patient visits.
• Check in and out, schedule procedures and provide preoperative instructions.
• Take vital signs, update patient medical histories, and perform intake.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment is clean and stocked.
• Assist during exams and procedures as directed by providers.
• Communicate with patients about upcoming procedures, instructions, and follow-ups.
• Manage communication with pharmacies.
• Care for coordination of patient care through phone calls, faxes, and secure messaging.
• Support both front and back office tasks as needed for team coverage.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of clinical documentation in EMR systems.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and a high standard of professionalism at all times.
