Medical Assistant - Credentialed for Cardiology in SW Beaverton

About the role

Join us at The Oregon Clinic as a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant. Work alongside a collaborative team of patient-focused colleagues and physicians in our thriving Cardiology Clinic located in Southwest Beaverton.

Responsibilities

• Assists the medical staff by collecting information, escorting patients to exam rooms, and preparing patients for examination.
• Aids in procedures and performs related tests/monitoring.
• Schedules appointments for new and established patients as needed.
• Maintains a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment.
• Utilizes EMR to process prescriptions, retrieve test results and patient files. Updates records as needed.
• Assists with the overall delivery of patient care in the department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
• Specialty Cardiology experience is a plus!
• Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is required.
• Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty.
• Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is strongly preferred. Epic experience is a plus!
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.

Pay

Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: Level I: $25.17-$34.05 per hour. Level II: $27.69-$37.46 per hour. Level III: $30.45-$41.20 per hour.

Schedule

Workdays: This role will be located in The Oregon Clinic Creekside Pavilion. Typical hours are Monday-Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm).
