Medical Assistant Certified - Oncology Hematology

Role Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant provides essential support in patient care by accurately entering data, verifying insurance, and assisting healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to deliver high-quality medical care.
• Perform accurate data entry for patient registration, charges, and account updates.
• Verify insurance information and record relevant statistics.
• Help schedule patient appointments, answer phones, and communicate provider updates.
• Inform patients about benefits and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Effective communication and professional demeanor.

Schedule

Full-time position with hours from 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday.
