About the role

Meadowview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to float to various areas within the Physician Services department. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of clinical and administrative duties under the supervision of healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
  • Takes vital signs, documents patient history, and updates electronic health records (EHR).
  • Assists providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections.
  • Performs basic lab tasks, prepares specimens, and maintains clean, stocked exam rooms.
  • Supports front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
  • CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification required.
  • Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

Applicants should be able to perform all of the above duties and responsibilities. No experience is necessary as training will be provided.

Skills

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency with medical software and excellent organizational skills are also required.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
