CMA Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of Medical Assistant Program
• Certified as Medical Assistant (CMA)

Responsibilities

• Accurately and timely complete Patient registration
• Assist professional staff in provision of quality care
• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of examination rooms
• Maintain patient flow in and out of office
• Answer and direct phone calls appropriately
• Perform lab draws and follow up with patient as ordered by physician
• Create patient charts
• Order, maintain, and stock supplies in an orderly manner
