CMA Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of Medical Assistant Program
- Certified as Medical Assistant (CMA)
Responsibilities
- Accurately and timely complete Patient registration
- Assist professional staff in provision of quality care
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of examination rooms
- Maintain patient flow in and out of office
- Answer and direct phone calls appropriately
- Perform lab draws and follow up with patient as ordered by physician
- Create patient charts
- Order, maintain, and stock supplies in an orderly manner
