About the role

The Clover Care Services (CCS) team at Clover Health is seeking Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join our dynamic and compassionate team. As part of the Clover Care Visit (CCV) team, CMAs will work closely with Providers to deliver high-quality, hands-on care in members' homes. The role involves driving to and conducting member visits, partnering with Providers before, during, and after visits, and supporting patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Providers before, during, and after visits to support patient care.
  • Be the friendly, trusted face members rely on during visits, helping with translation, gathering information, taking vitals, and answering questions.
  • Perform phlebotomy and other essential medical tasks as directed by the Provider.
  • Close care gaps, review consent forms, and keep documentation accurate.
  • Collapse and coordinate through electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Maintain medical supplies and ensure smooth, well-prepared visits.
  • Support outreach efforts to schedule visits and strengthen patient engagement.
  • Drive independently or with the provider to patient visits.

Requirements

  • Hold a Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program.
  • Have at least 1 year of healthcare experience (home-based care a plus).
  • Have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Be fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills (required).
  • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Have basic computer proficiency; comfortable with documentation in electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Able to walk up 3 flights of stairs and carry up to 40 lbs. of equipment.

  • Flexibility to travel to various locations within Burlington County.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the base hourly rate for this role is $22.21—$24.42 USD.

Schedule

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, field-based role involving driving to and conducting member visits in members' homes.
