Medical Assistant Duties and Responsibilities Prepare exam rooms and assist with cardiovascular exams, stress tests, EKGs, Holter monitor placements, and pacemaker checks.Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation.Review and document patient history, medications, and symptoms accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).Provide patient education on procedures, medications, and follow-up care related to cardiology services.Ensure proper cleaning, stocking, and sterilization of exam rooms and medical instruments.
